Before
apartment, I fell in love with her great
style and bright cheerful color palate.
Her daughter Jodi is a teacher, but
she could easily call herself an interior
designer and has helped her mom
create her beautiful surroundings.
Carol loves her view of the pool and
did not want to deal with long curtains
(been there-done that). She enjoys
traditional style with a modern flair.
Carol had acquired beautiful red
fabric from a special boutique in
Maine and thought she wanted a
cornice for the top. I suggested a box
pleat valance with a complimentary
butter cream solid fabric and the rest
is history. By hanging the valance
high, we added height to the already
high ceilings and we did not infringe
on any bit of her sunshine or her view.
My aunt spends her life caring for
others as a nurse and is literally the
nicest person I know. It was such a
treat to be able to do something nice
for her and always a pleasure to work
with anyone with great taste.
