Pat & Dick's Bedroom
parent's bedroom.  We started with
this pretty aqua and chocolate fabric
and I made them a custom headboard
and also box pleat valances that I
mounted inside the window frame
because we really liked the window
trim and the shutters that my dad
installed and did not want anything
overly fussy or dominating.  A
chocolate brown textured fabric and a
tassel trim was just enough to nicely
accent our scroll pattern fabric.

We have added a bench and some
pillow accents and a nice round table
was donated by my brother Rich which
I covered with a pretty silk cream dot
fabric to make the table skirt.  A
beautiful Edna Hibel painting (my
parent's favorite artist) and a nice tree
(the forest-my dad calls it) and they
have a serene and beautiful bedroom.
